Our History...
A & H Implement Company has been serving Altamont and the surrounding communities since the turn of the century. Mrs. Louis Hoffmeister, assisted by her son Ronald, operated A & H until she remarried in 1972. At that time another son, Jerry, joined the business in partnership with Ronald and they continued to sell vehicles under the name of A & H Implement Company.

In 1977 a new body shop was built and Ronald's son, Michael, began working for the family business. Extensive improvements were made to the original building in 1994. In 1996 Ronald and Jerry had fifteen employees and the business was incorporated. In December 2003, Ronald retired and soon after Jerry and Michael became the partner owners of A & H. In 2008, a new building was built that contains a state of the art paint room. The company continues to grow through the fine selection of cars and trucks and their excellent service.
December 31, 2024 Mike Hoffmeister retired and sold the business to Phil and Shannon Webster. The Websters have plans to continue the legacy of A and H Implement as A and H Auto Repair & Sales, and A and H Auto Body. We look forward to serving the Altamont community's automotive needs for the next 100 years.
